4 rooms with a large loft room upstairs. The loft offers 4 single twin sized beds with fans and a couch.

6 beds with A/C, including one king sized bed, one queen sized bed, and four double beds. The loft offers 4 single beds with fans.

3.5 Baths

We offer 2 ensuite bathrooms attached to the king and queen bedrooms. The upstairs bathroom and downstairs 1/2 bathroom are shared. There is an outdoor shower to rinse off.

The Beach Pad – 1 Bedroom Apartment

The Beach Pad

The Beach Pad is a turn key one-bedroom apartment on the first floor of the Beach House. It can be rented separately, but if you need extra space for your larger groups, you can rent the beach pad together with the beach house.

The beach pad offers 2 queen beds, a big bathroom, wifi, hot water, kitchen, living and dining room, outside hammocks, A/C throughout the apartment, covered parking, and separate private entrance.

Details

The Beach House offers a unique vacation rental experience within a wildlife corridor right outside the house, where you can expect to have regular visits from a variety of creatures.

You’ll likely see iguanas sunning themselves, and a colorful array of birds, including Bob the bird, our curious Tiger Heron, toucans, a party of macaws, green parrots, and parakeets. And if you’re lucky, you might even spot a monkey or two right from your hammock!

About The Hosts

Maria Hudson

Maria’s parents came to Costa Rica in the late eighties and fell in love with the Osa Peninsula and the surrounding areas and decided to buy and build. It has been her families vacation home since then. In 2012 she moved back to Puerto Jimenez to revive the house so other families like hers could enjoy it. Maria has been operating the Beach House together ever since.

Nela Alvarado Trejos

Nela is the Beach House co-host and Maria’s best friend. She is Costa Rican and moved to Puerto Jimenez around 12 years ago. She is an avid surfer and knows the area very well, since she grew up close by. Both, Maria and Nela, have been In the Osa 12 years and can assist you with tours, information, transportation and anything you need
